Do you have a pattern? Hey Dan, these are made from pine wood, I do my pattern over a MDF fold to place it over the wood and draw around. Sides are 2" x 1/4". I use steam to get soft wood before jointing it with the bottom part. I sued 1" nails in the border. Basically need to work with the table saw and some scrollsaw touchs. I once built a small row boat for my daughter to use as an ice chest for canned drinks at her wedding. It probably took 40 hours and it got used once.
