lrmartinez
Hi my name is Luis and I have been scrolling for six months now. I just recently purchased the Dewalt 788. I have used it about five times and although it cuts smooth and is a GREAT improvement over my twelve year old pin blade 16 inch Craftman I think it might need some kind of adjustment. The blade as it goes up and down has a slight side to side movement which makes it difficult when making a curve because it eats up small details. Can anyone help me.
Clayton717
Do you have enough tension on the blade? I don't use this saw but my first guess would be the tension being to loose.
lrmartinez
Yes, I checked the tension it's cranked all also changed blades just in case. Thank you for your suggestion!

lrmartinez
Brett, I just want to thank you!!! The info you sent was what I needed the blade was not aligned properly just needed to tighten some screws. The blade had a side to side motion.
