meflick Posted May 4, 2018 Report Share Posted May 4, 2018 I'm going to point out the obvious, as you can clearly see, woodworkers (such as we have here) typically are going to prefer the "plain" show me the wood look BUT if you are trying to figure out what a "customer" would like, you would get a lot more for the painted look probably. So, you might have both available if you are looking to sell and see which ones work for selling. You can always have a painted one to see and take orders for "painted" with color selections available and that saves from having to paint some until you "need" them. heppnerguy Posted May 5, 2018 Report Share Posted May 5, 2018 I would have to vote for the plain one also. I like wood and most scrolling items when painted loose some of it's appeal to me, personally. I think it would be better to choose a different colored wood before I would paint one.
