rdatelle
Quick question. What type of glue would you use to fasten those metal pin backs to wood or would you use the one's that you just stick on. Not sure if those would hold up like the glued on one's. Thanks, Ralph. OCtoolguy and lawson56

dgman
E6000. Comes in a tube. It dries clear and slightly flexible. Will adhere anything to anything. Been using it for years for pin backs without any failures. OCtoolguy
rdatelle
Thanks Scott, I was thinking the same thing. I was even thinking maybe hot glue. OCtoolguy

OCtoolguy
Dan, I've never heard of E6000. Can you expand on that? Brand or name or ??????????? I want to see if I can find some. Thanks. R OOOPS! Never mind Dan. I found it. I've never paid any attention before but I guess it's sold under that name everywhere. MrsN
Like Dan I usually use E6000. I also use it to glue metal hair barrettes to wood pieces, and none of those have failed either. In a pinch on some pins for myself I did use hot glue, and they are held up well. But I wouldn't want to give/sell them that way.
WayneMahler
E 6000 is what I use the thinner projects. Have never had a failure with it yet.
