Popular Post Scrappile
This is my attempt of the John 3:16 verse. Thanks Dick (Heppnerguy) for showing the one you did inspiring me to do it. I've had the pattern for a long time. It is 1/8" Baltic Birch, the backer is stained with General Gel stain color "Nutmeg". First time I have stained a backer and first time I have used a Gel stain and I am real pleased with how it turned out. I have had some real disasters with other things I have attempted to stain. The piece is 21" x 21". A free pattern from The Berry Basket. GPscroller, amazingkevin, Sam777 and 15 others 12

spirithorse
Another fine example of your expertise, Paul, I love that pattern but, don't now if I want to tie myself down to that much fretwork again, yet. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse Scrappile

Marg I do not keep track of time, but did not take as long as you would think. The top and bottom are stack cut together as well as the two sides and the small and larger filler pieces. So, there are really only five pieces to cut of the detailed scroll work. The outline of the dark wood pieces can also be stack cut but there is additional scrolling in them (that does not show in the picture) that has to be done individually. I think cutting the letters out took me as long as the other parts. Thank you all for the nice comments. wombatie and amazingkevin
