Delta 40-694 Table Moves When Locked

I watched the video again and I guess I have to agree that the whole assembly is moving at the base of the trunnion where it sits on the scroll saw base. It is not locking in even with all the pressure that is being exerted on the lock knob. If it were me, I'd return the saw for another one and hope the next one is better.

Ray, as I mentioned in an earlier post, I purchased this saw in December and it did the exact same thing as this thread is about.  My first thought was "oh great" having already read this thread.  But as I mentioned earlier all I had to do is hold down on the table as I tightened the locking knob and no more rocking.  So my thought is if you send it back and get another one, it is more than likely going to be the same.  The pushing down motion on the table makes it contact the curvature of the main frame and makes it solid.
