It is was not for the hat, I am not sure that most would not know who this was. I will have to try this one again at a different time as I just could not get it to fall together well. But I am not going to give up on trying to learn this wood portrait making. Mahendra told me to just keep at it and some day it WILL all fall together.. I sure hope so

Dick, It looks great. I look at pattern making as a form of art. Every artist has his or her own style. I see that when I go to the section where members are asking for help with patterns. Some pattern designers have what I consider simple patterns and others make them very detailed. I see beauty in all styles. The same goes if you go to a local art museum.
