trackman
Found this pattern made by Phantom Scroller and was thinking there needs to be some bridges in the O's and R's. But not sure if I am just not seeing right (happened before lol) Going to make this for my barber. barb.j.enders
I would agree - also in the finger holes of the scissors OCtoolguy
Scrappile
And the little rivet that holds the two halves of the scissors.... OCtoolguy
kmmcrafts
Unless you cut all the letters out and glue to a backer I'd say you are right.. The scissors though... they look like it was designed to be cut out of the board because of the bridges.. other than the finger holes, LOL OCtoolguy and SCROLLSAW703 1
NC Scroller
You also need a bridge for the center of the A.
JTTHECLOCKMAN
I believe the letters are an overlay.
Rockytime
Whose pattern is that? Is it OK to download it. Don't want to step on any toes here. OCtoolguy and SCROLLSAW703

OCtoolguy
I must be misunderstanding. Are the black areas to be cut out?
fredfret
I think the black gets cut out. The center of the a,o,r, and scissors could be cut then glued to the backer by saving the rest of the letter or scissors for locators. Letters are hard. Dan
Double-bevel cutting would work also.

spirithorse
Hi, I ran across the post from Phantom Scroller and it does say the letters and scissors are to be cut and then glued onto the backer. The pattern can also be altered as you and the other replies have suggested if bridges are added. God Bless! Spirithorse

It's supposed to be cut as individual letters and scissors and stuck to a backer board not cut out of the wood hence why you think it has the drop outs hope that clears thing up for you.
