Popular Post rdatelle Posted June 10, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted June 10, 2018 HI everyone. This is a pattern from Alex Fox that he sent me. I gave it a try and here it it. It's made out of 1/8 baltic birch plywood. It's 7 1/2 x 7 1/2. I love these patterns but there's so much cutting and gluing. I guess some things you just have to deal with. I love his new one to. The 3D ornament one. Might have to do that one to. jollyred, Scrappile, RabidAlien and 9 others 12 Quote
alexfox Posted June 10, 2018 Report Posted June 10, 2018 Great cut, it was my first project of such type patterns, this is Gabriel Schama pattern, you can find it here: http://scrollsawer.com/2017/12/18/art-deco-shadow-box/ I liked it and decided to make such pattern myself. Thats what came out of it: My Pattern available at: http://alexscrollsaw.wixsite.com/scrollsawpatterns/patterns (Menu-Patterns-Compound patterns): Jronn65, Lucky2, Proxprof and 3 others 6 Quote
munzieb Posted June 10, 2018 Report Posted June 10, 2018 Really nice cutting! I wondered, with all those cut out pieces, could you have done a reverse pattern and glued them on a backer board using each cut layer as a gluing guide? Quote
DWSUDEKUM Posted June 10, 2018 Report Posted June 10, 2018 Nicely done. That came out great. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW Quote
