I ordered a gross of blades from the Wooden Teddy Bear on the 23rd June and I still have not received them, that is very unusual, I normally get them within 2 weeks.

Ummm, that would be next day delivery to Australia Marg!

sence it is only the 24 th I would wait a couple of days, It useally takes 3 days to Cincinnati Ohio,

Being that you are in Australia did you mean May 23rd by chance ? I normally get my order in 3 days.

maybe some confusion on your order date, miss marge? I live in NW Kansas & get my order from them in 2 days. Realizin' of course you bein' in Australia, shipping may take a bit longer. An email to them with your order date may be a consideration, ma'am.

I have emailed them twice and had no reply.  I am finding that a bit odd too.  I have never had this problem before.

I received an email at the end of June and they were very apologetic and asked that I wait another month before reordering.  Well my blades finally arrived today, thats almost 2 months to get from America to Australia, seems that we are back to the bad old days of sailing ship and horse and wagons.

Marg, did you order from Wooden Teddy Bear because you wanted Flying Dutchman blades?  If so, maybe give Bear Woods of Canada a try with their Niqua blades.  From what  I read they are the same blades, Mike used the name Flying Dutchman when he was sole distributor of them in the U.S. and Canada.  That's what I read anyway,,,,

Marg, Are there many scrollers in Australia? If there are..........might be a good opportunity for a local supplier.

Dave I always buy Olson blades and believe it or not, it is actually cheaper to buy them from America and have them posted than it is to buy them here.  In fact I worked it out yesterday that I would have to buy 5 and a 1/2 dozen in Australia to equal 12 dozen I get from the US.

I ordered a gross a couple months ago and got them in three days, also six mini drill bits#63, never had bad service from them.  edward
