When @neptunposted this pattern in February, I knew I had to cut it.  Was not sure of the wood to use and then a couple of weeks ago I was in our local Winner's store.  There was a serving tray in the clearance area that had been damaged and was 30% off.  Solid teak and cost me $20.  BINGO!!!!!!!  12 3/4 X 16 inches.  Not sure if a frame is needed or not, still undecided, what does everyone here think?  Thanks for another great pattern Sasho.

Stunning!  And personally, most patterns do well without frames when cut from thicker wood.  1/4" or 1/8" usually needs a frame, in my humble and oft-ignored opinion.

I expected the Queen of England staring back at me.    This is a beautiful piece, you did an excellent job on it.  I love the wood that you found, good pick up.  No I think its fine without a frame.  Well done Jeff.

Jeff, Awesome pattern and cutting. That is one beautiful piece of wood. I really don't think it needs a frame. It would be hard to come up with one that would do it justice.
