Prized Possession

Hope it's OK to post this here. This is one of my most prized possessions. It was made my uncle Charlie Knight Edmondson.  I believe it is a Boy Scout. He was a paratrooper and was captured in France on June 6, 1944. He was executed the next day. Wish I could go back in time and watch him making it.

It looks a little like Lord Baden Powell the founder of scouting. Very sorry to hear of your uncles story. Very thankful we had a generation that came before us who fought for our freedom ante freedom of others, Rest in Peace soldier.

Hold on dearly to that piece of family history.  I would write down as many details as you know about and maybe even get some family members to back up the story and place it with the piece so future generations will understand the sacrifice your uncle made.
