Cant wait to make it. Hi, I used glue "88" of Ukrainian production, instruction: apply glue on both surfaces, wait about 10-15 minutes until the glue dries, squeeze the glued surfaces. I am not shure that you will find it in the US. Cant wait to make it. Runa, I think from the description, the closest product available in the U.S. to what Alex uses is "Weldwood Contact Cement". I used this Titebond glue on the one I made and it worked well. Thicker than other Titebond glues, very tacky, dries clear. Just a suggestion, other glues work and the regular Titebonds work also.
