Iguanadon Posted July 11, 2018 Report Share Posted July 11, 2018 After many orders from Vistaprint and always very happy, I just received 2 batches of business cards that I'm not thrilled with. Cards came out quite dark. The Unicorn card was a simple re-order, no changes. The Dachshund I did use a different picture. They both looked great on the PREVIEW before ordering, but their printers must have been on a darker setting. I've emailed them, we'll see what they say. I need to reorder soon so I will be watching a waiting. Anyone can make a mistake but a good company will fix them hassle free. For everyone in the plant and all sales eople. Never had a bad order. I will be very surprised if they do not make good for you. They'll likely send you a gift too.. not sure if it's a promotional thing or they just really feel bad about the mistake and hope by sending you a gift ( pen, sticky, notes, etc ) with your card design on it... Part of me thinks they do that so you'll buy more of the gift they offer when you run out or see it in person.. Big business like that... bound to make mistakes.. and they are ready to handle them with a promotional gift.. Maybe they don't do that anymore.. like I said.. was several years ago when I had an issue.. either way.. they well known big business and they didn't get that way by doing crappy work and bad customer service. But, I think if you are not satisfied with something you bought you should contact that business first. It does not matter why you decided to post it, it still provides a negative for the company. If someone is unhappy with one of your puzzles or maps and their is a minor problem,do you want them to contact you directly or first post it on a forum. I'll consider reordering in about 4 weeks in hopes they've found and resolved the problem. In the meantime I was also sent a survey asking for my feedback about my complaint experience... I waited a couple of weeks, and hoping that they'd found the issue with their printing equipment, I placed the order again... I now have bad batch #3. I emailed them letting them know how disappointed I was and that even after asking twice for my issue to be escalated so that I could speak with someone higher up, I never heard a thing. Full refund given again and I'm done trying to work with them. Iguanadon Posted August 14, 2018 Author Report Share Posted August 14, 2018 Final Update: I received my order from www.gotprint.com and the cards are perfect. Their design program on their site was easy to use. It took a little longer to receive the cards, but unless you're in a rush, it shouldn't be an issue. It only took 11 days to receive them. I received them in today's mail, was happy with them and immediately placed an order for another batch with a different puzzle image.
