rjR Posted July 31, 2018 Report Posted July 31, 2018 I have a home-made one that I only use occasionally; as it is difficult to do right. Quote
wombatie Posted August 6, 2018 Report Posted August 6, 2018 I guess its one of those things that you have to have a lot of practice at. Marg Quote
Scrappile Posted August 6, 2018 Report Posted August 6, 2018 (edited) Looks like one that is heated by a torch? I have one that is heated that way and it takes some practice to know when it is at the right temp. When I get the right temp, I usually make several brands on some very thin/veneer wood. I then cut them into separate pieces and when needed I can glue them on the back of a piece I have done. Saves some time and it actually looks pretty nice. GPscroller Posted August 7, 2018 Report Posted August 7, 2018 When I brand projects with my branding iron, I use a rocking motion to get the whole thing. Jeff Quote
