scrollsawartpatterns
Hey Everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself to the community. My name is Jason Henry and I live in the foothills of the Beautiful Cascade Mountain Range(Washington State). I have spent the last 10 years dedicated to producing Amazing cut ready DXF files for the CNC cutting industry (laser, plasma, waterjets). I really enjoy creating wildlife related design work but feel comfortable creating just about anything anyone could possible want or need. I would like to try my hand at creating printable PDF patterns for the Scroll Saw cutting industry. I am attaching one of my first PDF designs to this post to hopefully get some feedback on it. I am interested in creating some really awesome patterns for everyone so if you have a chance please take a look at the attached PDF file. Let me know if you have any suggestions on how I can improve on the PDF file I uploaded. Also, If anyone is interested in having me create a design for them you can email me at jasonhenrylives@yahoo.com or message me on this site. I currently have a website set up but only have a few designs added to it right now. www.scrollsawartpatterns.com Thanks! meflick
Hi Jason and welcome to the Village from the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains of East TN. Glad to have you join us and look forward to your participation Hopefully someone can give your patterns a try/look over and give you some feedback. i tend not to cut this type of work right now so wouldn't be able to give you much insight. They look good at a quick glance. Couple of things I have learned here from others is to make sure you don't have any "floaters" and try not to have any real fragile parts that would easily break when cutting. Beyond that, I will leave it to the experts here to give you great feedback. I did check out your website and you have some nice looking patterns there at really good prices. Good luck to you. One quick question - do you have a separate site to review your CNC patterns?

scrollsawartpatterns
Here is another design I created today! I scaled this one more conservatively and the finished piece should turn out to be 12" wide x 9" tall. Hope you all like it.
