Popular Post scrollerpete Posted August 3, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted August 3, 2018 If you want to practice your turns get this pattern from Steve Good. I used one blade to cut the whole thing #1FDUR I think I should frame this blade. Rockytime, GPscroller, frankorona and 11 others 13 1 Quote
rdatelle Posted August 3, 2018 Report Posted August 3, 2018 Looks good Pete.Did you have any trouble using a #1 blade. Did you get any wandering with that blade. I seem to have trouble with thinner blades. Quote
DWSUDEKUM Posted August 3, 2018 Report Posted August 3, 2018 Excellently done Pete. That came out awesomely. Thanks for sharing this with us. DW Quote
bobscroll Posted August 3, 2018 Report Posted August 3, 2018 What a really nice job on the project Pete and with a single blade too! Well done, Bob Quote
Rockytime Posted August 3, 2018 Report Posted August 3, 2018 Great dream catcher! How thick is the wood you cut? I'm a bottom feeder and use a #1 penguin silver reverse blade on 1/8 or 1/4 BB. I don't break the blades I just bend them until they are useless. You did terrific! Quote
heppnerguy Posted August 4, 2018 Report Posted August 4, 2018 A fun pattern. I love the ones that have a lot of fret work to them. I find them so much more enjoyable to cut and the added challenges only makes me want to try more of them. Nice job on a fun pattern. I, personally would have went to a bigger blade to cut this one, like at least a #3. but that is just what I enjoy cutting with as I feel they are easier to stay on line. Nice job on your new project. I love it when I am pushing my own personal envelop. Dick heppnerguy Quote

Dave Monk Posted August 5, 2018 Report Posted August 5, 2018 Good job Pete! That would have been good practice for a spiral blade. Quote
