Scrappile
Beautiful box you made. I love the inlay. When I get back to the scroll saw, I am going to have to try inlay. I can see being able to do the bigger pieces, but the delicate parts like the branch with the stems going to the leaves,,, that looks very difficult. Thanks Scrappile, I do sweat a little with the fine pieces. I bevel cut the pieces so they fit like a plug. Have to keep my wits about me as to which direction they have to be cut in. amazingkevin

Wasn't it hard to put it in the small compartments in the top? Thanks Dave. The bright red is felt. I glue the felt to ply before installing. One for the bottom and another inside the lid. The underneath of my inlay should never be seen .the darker colour in the small compartments is flocking. amazingkevin

rdatelle
Nice inlay. I have to try and get back to inlay. I did a couple of pieces but then I stopped. John B
