3Dface Posted September 2, 2018 Report Share Posted September 2, 2018 i might be real slow to know this.... not sure if all of you know of adam savage (mythbusters) or of his youtube channel, tested. but he has incredible wealth of knowledge. i will share a video but let you know that the process can also be done with "super glue and fine sander sawdust" i also used activator. this is some plywood with a nasty void on a surface i needed to be smooooth! fill with dust and add glue then sand again... works every time. (the black line). i have also used this to replace a small corner of a blank. just use blue tape around the corner , fill void with sawdust, add glue then activator, and sand. https://youtu.be/NA2XJ7PTT3M 1 i hope this helps.
