lawson56 Posted September 5, 2018 Report Posted September 5, 2018 Well my Wife and I went to Ky to visit my Parents over the Labor Day wknd, and my kid Bro had a big surprise for me.A slightly used scroll saw!! It's a Porter Cable.I thought it was just like mine, but I found out it wasn't.It only has 2 speeds.Off and slow. But you can't look a gift horse in the mouth. My old one was running a bit ragged,so I am Happy to get a almost new one.I t will just take a bit longer to cut my plaques, which matches my speed as of late.lol. Foxfold Posted September 5, 2018 Report Posted September 5, 2018 Patience, I'm sure you'll soon get used to your new saw, and a request to Santa,,,, then you can have two. That's what I do lawson56 and OCtoolguy 2 Quote
Rockytime Posted September 5, 2018 Report Posted September 5, 2018 Sometimes those gift horses can do well. Congratulations on the new saw. lawson56 and OCtoolguy 2 Quote
spirithorse Posted September 6, 2018 Report Posted September 6, 2018 Congrats on the new saw. I have just seen the Porter Cable saws advertised at Lowe's and want to look at one in person to see if I am interested in adding one to my small shop area. Ease of blade change and price are my main two criteria at the moment. God Bless! Spirithrose lawson56 and OCtoolguy 2 Quote
