Popular Post Don Recardo
Hi , I got my first scroll saw a couple of weeks back and thought its about time to stop practicing doing wiggly lines and try to make something I have Kathy Wise's book so tried to follow along with her beginners project and she said if its your first time use a soft wood to make it easier to do, so I bought a bit of Red Cedar, I hadnt seen Cedar before , I guess we dont grow it in the UK, but it cut and sanded easy and it smells great when its cut I know I have a lot to learn and you will see that in my picture but all in all I was quite pleased with my first atempt. Its had just one coat of varnish which I will rub down when its dry and give a couple more coats but here it is so far Remember its my first try so be gentle with me Don Birchbark, heppnerguy, jbrowning and 18 others 17

Woodrush
Very nice job for your first try. Took me a lot longer to get that good. You have a natural talent for it
RabidAlien
Damn good for a first try! Now, put that in a place you can see it easily, so you can look at that and look at your current project and see how far you've come. But like Woodrush said.....you've got talent! meflick
Nice job. Keep working through Kathy's book. Also look for Judy Gale Robert's books. Both are two of the preiminent Intarsia pattern makers and artists who have books to learn from.

It is apparent that you pay attention to what you are doing and are after the best possible results you can get. Well I guess you should be receiving an A+ on this one. Keep at it and pretty soon you will be a master of your craft. Congratulations on a job well done Dick heppnerguy
