High plains scroller Posted October 11, 2018 Report Share Posted October 11, 2018 I just moved to Las Vegas New Mexico last spring when I retired. Just wanted out of the heat and humidity of eastern Oklahoma and be nearer to my kids, and grandkids. I did love the summer here at 6,500 ft, Will see about the winter. I have been scrolling about 10 years now. I enjoy all aspects and types of scrolling. I do Fretwork, intarsia, 3D, and portrait...Love it all. Been dabbling in pattern making and will probably do more of that once I get this fixer-upper house done, I drive a Dewalt 788 and as a retired machinist it irks me that they call it "industrial quality", but it does do the job, John B 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am in Midwest City about 20 east of Oklahoma City. Don't really like the weather here but it grows on you. Only place I know that can have a tornado in Oct.
