edward
Michaels opened two new stores in my area, and they don't carry the Baltic Birch wood anymore. Now has anyone ordered it online,if so who would you order it from and has a good reputation, I was looking on Amazon and there are some good deals. Any info would be helpful. crupiea
I live in San Diego and we have a number of cabinet maker type specialty wood store in the area that sell it in 5 x 5 sheets. Great prices too. If you live in a bigger town try to look for these specialty places if possible. Last time I paid about $11 or so for a 5x5 sheet of bb 1/8" Of course the thicker sizes cost more. tomsteve and OCtoolguy 1

I realize you are way south of me but would you mind sharing the names of the places you use? If you want you can private message them to me. Rockytime
Check to see if there is a Paxton Lumber in your area. I think there are some around the country. OCtoolguy

Scrappile
Where I live some of the lumber yards carry it, you might call around and ask. There is also an un-finished furniture store that carries it. OCtoolguy
JTTHECLOCKMAN
I order from Amazon also and very happy with product. Straight and flat, no voids, fast delivery. I use to buy from hardwood dealer but a couple years ago he had a fire in his shop and never reopened. So now I am forced to buy on line. I do not use alot of BB but it is nice to have on hand. Woodmaster1
+1 on ocooch my friend orders from them a say the Baltic birch is good stuff. I get mine from Johnson's Workbench in Charlotte MI it is an 80 mile drive but worth it. I spend $20 on gas and save $25 dollars on one sheet. I try to buy at least 5 sheets on a trip. The Baltic birch they carry is awesome. Edited October 13, 2018 by Woodmaster1 kmmcrafts, OCtoolguy and tomsteve 2
kmmcrafts
I also get mine from Johnson's Workbench.. awesome place.. I've also ( many years ago ) bought from woodcraft a couple times.. Not sure they still sell it or not.. it's a lot farther of a drivea and in the big city.. I hate crowded areas... etc OCtoolguy and tomsteve

OCtoolguy
I know this may not help you but for others who may not know about this place, Anderson Plywood in Anaheim, Ca. is fantastic. The owner is heavily involved with the Orange County Woodworkers group that makes toys for kids all year long and then donates them. He is also a veteran and has quite a museum of military artifacts on site. He loves to show it off. His prices are very good. Here is a link to their website. I'm not sure when they changed the name but I always new it as Anderson Plywood. Anyway, give it a look. http://www.aitwood.com/
