Charlie E
Hey everyone, I haven't been around the shop or the village much in a while. I'm sure everyone who doesn't make a living with the saw knows how life can put it on hold. My mom passing, sister's heart surgery, and keeping grandkids to name a few things. Anyway I recently got together with some classmates to plan our 40th reunion and a friend asked me if I could make this. It's a Sue Mey pattern. I downsized it from 18" to 11" tall. Quite a challenge for my skill level and I had to glue in a couple of grapes but it turned out OK I think. It is 1/4" Maple over 1/2" Walnut. Happy October everybody! meflick
Nice work Charlie, even wondering where you have been. I understand how “life” gets in the way. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Ny condolences. I hope your sister’s surgery went well. Enjoy those grand babies any chance you get, they don’t stay little long.
