rdatelle
Well I finally got my new Pegas clamps and installed them on my Ex Cal 21. What a difference. Less noise, vibration and easier blade change. Also perfect tension once you flip the lever over. Hope they last a while. Rockytime
The Pegas clamp will do no good on my Hawk but it makes sense to me if other saw makers would just charge a few bucks more and just sell their machines with the Pegas clamp since it appears to be so superior. WDIK What do I know? OCtoolguy

WDIK What do I know? We might see that some day. The Pegas holders have only been around for a year. I doubt the entry level saws will switch but I can see Seyco and similar saws switching. heppnerguy
Well, if my EX clamps ever give me trouble I just might give them a try. I find it difficult to understand that any clamp would work better then the ones that come with the Excalibur but It's only money.. So smooth. So easy to load a blade. And the tension is system is so much better and smoother. Buy a set. You won't be sad. heppnerguy
