Nice work. I too have a pin end machine from Aldi, I love it and wouldn't part with it for the world. I also have an Axminster Trade Series 18 which I use for more intricate work, but there's lots you can do on the pin end. xx

I can’t get on with the vibration to be honest. I have it bolted down onto my bench and after a wee while my eyes end up crossed πŸ˜„

My little helper is Jessica. She is just over four years old and is such a switched on cookie.Β

Having her later on in life meant I am keen on spending as much time as possible to teach her that life is fun and she can do anything she sets her mind too.Β

No doubt in my mind that she will be scrolling soon. Her mum thinks different πŸ˜‰

I've bent many a pin-ended blade trying to make tight turns.Β  :)Β  One of these days I'll scrape together enough allowance (and my wife will approve) to get an Excalibur.Β  Until then...I'm finding that the only limiting factor for cutting with pin-ends is the size of the pilot hole.Β  You can still do some pretty gnarly stuff with them!!

Awesome cut!

You can, with a little ingenuity, do a lot on a pin end saw, I did my first WordArt pattern, among other things,Β on my pin end,Β  Sorry, pushed the wrong button and don't know how to delete this answer as it's not what I wanted to do. But saying that, these were done on my little machine. Brenda x

Thanks, I have quite a few transition marks on the wood to take out. I lack the skill and confidence to turn the wood quickly and keep feeding.Β

Looking good. Make the most of your assistant, they grow up to damn fast.
As DW said tight turns etc will come with practice. Once you get your new saw, get yourself a gross of various sized blades, find a practice pattern and go to it.

We all start somewhere and as you master it you'll move up to newer models and when you get to the Ex-21 or bigger it will beΒ like going from aΒ mosovich car to a Ferrari.Β πŸ˜€Β Roly
