Clayton717 Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 I just finished this up yesterday. It was made for my dad. Overall it is about 27" long. The tractor is about 12 1/2" long. This was made from a pattern from http://www.toysandjoys.com. The pattern was reduced to 75% of the original. My dad asked me a while back (before the holiday rush) to build him some kind of a truck to hold a whiskey bottle. He wanted a box truck style kinda like the ups truck, but he was thrilled when I gave him this last night. He said it was even better. It is made from ash, with a small piece of walnut. Quote
Scrolldad1 Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Very Impressive! You did a great job. You and your dad can be proud of this. El Quote
Travis Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Boy, that turned out awesome! I love the wood choice. I like how you modified the trailer to hold stuff. Very clever. Someday I'll try one of those patterns from Toys and Joys. They have such great patterns. You did such a nice job on that. Good job! Quote
Fran Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Golly, Clayton, you are so talented, and clever. Yep, I bet your dad was really pleased with it. Fran Quote
