Santa came today. I got my draftsman stool today. Holy smokes, the seat is a whopping 16" diameter. I'm not a skinny fella but that seat supports about an ax handle and a half. It sure does roll around nice. My saw on wheels does not roll away from me but now the stool does. I now do have to anchor the chair to the saw with my leg but oh how comfortable. Hope I don't fall asleep at the saw.

Use a rolling chair and they're great for those subtle little moves when you want to get a slightly different perspective of the situation. But at times, you find that you've moved and you've corkscrewed yourself into a position that you had no intention of being at. Also moving your sitting position just slightly and wiggling your back at the same time seems to relieve that back muscle stress. Rubber mat is a good idea or just a scrap piece of carpet might be the answer which I do have in the computer room.

And I want to put in a bit or two too....  Stool at first as saw on work bench. Bunch of years this way.  Was Younger so all was OK.

Then was introduced to setting down lower.  So a measured table I built along with a Fold up chair with cushion.  Was so much

better than before.  Then and still is a Office chair.  No arm rests.  Just a roll around Cushioned with back.  Works Good.  :+}

You owe me a new keyboard.  I managed to get all the tea I spewed off my monitor, but the keyboard didn't make it.

I use a bar stool, a folding one with a back to it, got it at Target a few years back and then my wife was going to throw it away when a paint can got knocked over and splashed paint on the legs.  I commandeered it for the workshop.  My saw sits up on the workbench, they're a good height together.

Do you also wear the kilt while you scroll?😵

Judging by the imprint on that stool, I would guess that he does
Is scrolling in the nude  even allowed???
I know there's a saying "To Each his Own" but I think that would be taking it to a whole new level
