Loskoppie
Hi All I have been trying to get rid of the monkey on my back. I will explain. I could not get back to scrolling because of thing getting in the way. So now I have been putting of scrolling so I made myself get back. I took a Steve Good pattern and printed it and cut it. OOPS In cutting it I did not see that somthing went bad as trying to put my box together it did not work. It was a join I have never done. So back to the start and will do it again and send pic's. But I am glad I have sent the monkey on its way. Does other people have that or was it only me. Glad I am Scrolling Barbara OCtoolguy
NC Scroller
The way I look at it is if you do not make a mistake once in a while you are not learning. Most new things have a learning curve. Also if you walk a way from scrolling for an extended period it does take some recovery time to relearn the feel. Rockytime
Use it or lose it. Getting back to scrolling you will get up to speed quickly. Don't give up! OCtoolguy
wombatie
It is always better to do some practice cuts like straight lines, curves, points etc., before getting back into scrolling, you will soon become bored and want to do something a bit more interesting. But I know what you mean, I had to have time away from my saw once and then kept saying I will scroll tomorrow but a month went past before I said ok lets get this thing started, so out I went, did some practicing and enjoyed myself more than before.
