tomsteve
which means im at the "complicate it" stage. it measures 30" tall and 22' wide. complicating it has me cutting some wood to get the grain oriented to follow the flow of the feathers wich that= glue ups and more thinkin. first things first,though- think i better get a large auxiliary table for some support on my saw. then keep it simple. That looks like quite a project. I can't imagine even the drilling that will be required. tomsteve
JTTHECLOCKMAN
At this stage of my life I can not find the patience to do a project like that. I wish you luck and show us a progress album. tomsteve, OCtoolguy and meflick
Scrappile
One of my favorite patterns. Been thinking of cutting it again one day when the right piece wood comes along. tomsteve and OCtoolguy

No not plywood. If you are going to make the effort go with real wood. Good luck. Love to see the results. fredfret
One way to get better is to challenge yourself with more difficult patterns. You will be very careful and learn more than by just cutting the same thing. That is a great pattern. Good luck with it. WayneMahler
Would love to cut that myself. Maybe someday when I get caught up. And find the pattern. I do agree with staying away from plywood. Something like that deserves a great board. SCROLLSAW703 and tomsteve
Rockytime
30" X22", where would one get a solid piece that size? tomsteve

I hope you post the finished project. i dont think it will be that hard.time consuming?yes. it will definately be a challenge on a 16" saw, but its doable. im thinking it will be easier enlarged. although its going to be a large piece of wood, enlarging the pattern makes all of them fine, fragile cuts less fine and fragile.
