Foxfold Posted November 1, 2018 Report Posted November 1, 2018 I have struggled putting blades in my machine as I find my fingers don't work well enough to turn the knob to tighten the clamp. I've never mentioned it to anyone and just kept 'struggling'. Well,,,, without me knowing, my husband had noticed that I struggle and came up with this... It works brilliantly as it fits in my hand and I can turn it easily. So proud of him for caring enough Scrolling Steve, Lucky2, bobscroll and 6 others 8 1 Quote

I also have clamps like this, I'm not sure I made myself understood. I can't hold the 'red' key that you show in your photo, so my husband has taken the key and loaded it into a screwdriver handle. That way I can hold it in my palm and turn it easier. xx innar20, John B and Scrolling Steve 3 Quote

I know it must sound strange that I need something like this but, I have 'honeycomb' for bones in my thumbs, so have very limited use of them and believe me you have to come up with some strange solutions in life when your thumbs don't work Edited November 3, 2018 by Foxfold meflick 1 Quote
