Popular Post heppnerguy Posted November 1, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted November 1, 2018 I am starting to put some of my things in a shop in Colorado. A gal called me and said she really likes the items she has seen on my page and wondered if I would like to put any of my work in her shop. So I agreed to do so and made a few of the ones she liked for starters. I will see how it goes from here. I also will be putting a few other items in the box to mail to her. Just letting you know I have not been laying around the house and staying out of my shop this past week. I have a few other items to add to the package and I will get them mailed off this week Dick heppnerguy bobscroll, Macman, jollyred and 10 others 12 1 Quote
kmmcrafts Posted November 1, 2018 Report Posted November 1, 2018 Beautiful work on all of those.. you've been busy alright.. I've had things in shops ( mostly local but a few out of state ) and found that the items come up missing or damaged etc etc.. There also use to be some scams of people claiming to be a store and wanting you to mail them samples etc.. I got to where I was asking for proof of store ownership.. as in license numbers and whatnot.. Now I don't fuss with the hassles of doing that anymore.. I wish you much luck.. maybe Walmart will see your items in her shop and order a few thousand to put in your stores, LOL.. How long would that take to make heppnerguy 1 Quote

How long would that take to make This lady has been a customer of mine for about 5 years and she is a friend of my granddaughters. I respect and trust her completely. Thanks for the heads up. I know what you are talking about. she recently moved and we talked about this venture a couple of times and I decided to give her a helping hand too. If I was to loose everything I sent to her, it is not a big deal to me. I do not have that much wrapped up in these projects. In fact if her business does not go well, then I will just give her the items as gift. No big deal. Dick heppnerguy kmmcrafts, amazingkevin and John B 3 Quote

heppnerguy Posted November 6, 2018 Author Report Posted November 6, 2018 Off to Oregon in a couple of days and so I will be putting away my shorts and tank tops and bringing out the levies and sweatshirts. By the end of November, we could possibly be seeing snow, who knows? I will miss all the wonderful and fun people here in the Village but I hope to come back from the wedding of my granddaughter and from Thanksgiving and enjoy the nice warm Arizona weather and seeing all my friends here again. I am looking forward to being with family and I actually have the honor of giving my granddaughter away. How lucky is that. I recently decided to try a little glass etching with my Dremel and ended up making champagne glasses for the bride and groom as well as all the support people like best man and brides maid, along with their support people as well as one for the moms and one for the grandmother. It was like starting all over again with scrolling but with a new twist. I do have to say that I made some rather nice improvements on my etchings as I went along. I hope people will enjoy having that keep sake from the wedding to take home as a reminder of that day. Dick heppnerguy meflick 1 Quote
Scrappile Posted November 6, 2018 Report Posted November 6, 2018 Dick. I'm hoping you will let us see your glass etching. That is a whole new art. I thought you did glass etching with a sand blaster or some chemical.... I want to know more... Quote
Rob Posted November 7, 2018 Report Posted November 7, 2018 Great work as always Dick. I love the Stag and the Cowboy boots especially. Rob Quote
