Dave Monk
Are any of you storing completed projects in a unheated shop or garage through the winter? I would hate to see my projects get ruined. lawson56
daveww1
Since I'm trying my first craft show today I'll be staring any unsold thing in the garage over the winter, I wouldn't expect any damage from the cold. I hope I sell something I don't want to store it all! Dave Monk

kmmcrafts
All my things are stored in the loft of my un-heated shop.. All are either already packaged or in storage drawers / totes... I've never had any issues.. Dave Monk
JTTHECLOCKMAN
I never store my items in the cold and in fact I will not even put my craft stuff in the truck until the morning of a show. Wood products will expand and contract due to moisture and temps. Just the nature of wood. Now depending on the type of projects you make can have an effect of cracking. If the items are glued the glue can crack. If the pieces are thin veneers they can become brittle. Just my thoughts. This applies for heat in the summer as well. Extreme temps is not good for finished craft projects. Edited November 10, 2018 by JTTHECLOCKMAN Dave Monk
