kmmcrafts Posted November 17, 2018 Report Posted November 17, 2018 I just seen this and thought it's not a bad looking deal if it's really what they say it is.. Not sure but someone recently was talking about getting a new saw.. I personally not a big fan of Delta company but in reality it's the same thing as a DeWalt pretty much.. guessing most parts are interchangeable... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Delta-Power-Tools-40-694-20-In-Variable-Speed-Scroll-Saw/123488881835?epid=2254908595&hash=item1cc082ccab:g:0zcAAOSwmT1b6-Ev:sc:FedExHomeDelivery!49021!US!-1:rk:55:pf:0 OCtoolguy 1 Quote
WayneMahler Posted November 17, 2018 Report Posted November 17, 2018 Not a bad looking deal. At least they stated it is a refurbished unit. Free shipping and a 90 day warranty. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
kmmcrafts Posted November 17, 2018 Author Report Posted November 17, 2018 I guess I didn't look at it that close... I didn't realize it was a refurb.. I did see the 90 day warranty.. and thought it was odd because I thought they had a 5 year on them.. OCtoolguy 1 Quote

It means that whatever the item is, it's been looked at and worked on twice or more. I have bought a lot of refurbed things over the years. Mostly electronics. But a few tools. Never ever had a problem. The monitor that I'm using right now is an Acer that I got on Amazon for half price because someone sent it back. It works great and has the same warranty as a new one. Almost all my tools I bought when I first started woodworking was refurbished.. my TV's we have are all refurbished.. so yeah I buy a lot of refurbished stuff too and never a problem.. the tools such as my planer ( ryobi ) still going strong and I put a lot of BFT through that thing...
