I had inherited some tools from my dad but hadn't looked much at his Hawk Scroll Saw until 6 months ago. Wow, I'm hooked on scrolling now, and can't seem to get enough. I'm picking up everything I can read to learn all I can. So many ways and styles to cut. I recently found this site while searching for the best blades to use. Anyway I'm so enjoying my new direction of woodworking through the scroll saw. This is one of my latest projects, modified a bit from Sheila Landry's site. An inherited Hawk saw, don't think you can get much better inheritance then that from what I hear about the Hawk saws. Nice project and you are well on your way with this hobby. I still have a cousin that has lived in Florence for some time. Next time I go to visit her, I will have to look you up. You have a really good saw and that helps tremendously. I can see by your comments that you will be making a lot of fun things. Be sure and check out our pattern library and should you find some patterns you would like to cut, just know they are free for the downloading and then post your finished project for all of us to see and admire.
