First pattern of my own.

After watching the Inkscape tutorials  by Travis I actually managed to design and cut my first pattern. 

Its not much but boy am I pleased with myself. 

Still a fair bit of sanding but Jessica’s Nursery teacher should like it.

Very nice job, I just use Microsoft works word processor and get it right away for words. Then to Rapid resizer to get the height and length I want.

Once word gets out that you can design your own name patterns, PLUS
cut them out, you will be flooded with requests

Good job for your first one. What size blade are you using. Try a #3UR or a 5UR. Very little sanding if any at all.

Thanks, I used a 5 Pegas skip tooth blade. 

My main sanding task is to remove the transition marks that I make.

Try a # 3 Ur. Might clean them up a little more.
