Iguanadon Posted November 24, 2018 Report Posted November 24, 2018 I needed some more shelf liner that I use to glue my patterns to. Price online had gone up from $5.64 to $8.64 at Walmart so I decided to swing by the local store and see if they had it on hand and what it's priced. Bingo, $5.64 a roll but only had 4 rolls on hand. That's OK, I saved $12... Or did I? Checkout total $59... the $17 of candy wasn't on my shopping list, so did I really save any money? LOL I think I'll order it online from now on. rjweb Posted November 24, 2018 Report Posted November 24, 2018 That’s always the way, my wife has said that Walmart has recently raised a lot of there prices, so she has found other resources to purchase her every day type items, look at that 3.00 increase in price on 5.64, that’s more than 50%, is amazon wearing Walmart down and they are hurting? Woodmaster1 Posted November 24, 2018 Report Posted November 24, 2018 Nice savings on the liner was the candy on sale too? I have that problem as well go get one thing and five others not on the list jump in the cart on their own. OCtoolguy 1 Quote

JAC1961 Posted November 25, 2018 Report Posted November 25, 2018 I do that with gift cards. Last time I got a $25 Home Depot gift card for my birthday and bought a $200 extension ladder with it. Quote
Jim McDonald Posted November 25, 2018 Report Posted November 25, 2018 I've had a gallon of milk cost me more than $50 after I walk to the back of the store to get said milk--and passed the cereal, bread, chips, lunch meat. Quote

Toothpick Posted December 2, 2018 Report Posted December 2, 2018 How’s the shelf liner work? I use spray adhesive then tape over it. Or painters tape on the wood then spray adhesive the template to the tape. Quote
