Frank Pellow
I just gave it a try for about 15 minutes and was quite comfortable sitting on my raised stool at my raised saw. Now, I can get back to the many Xmas ornaments that are in the pipeline: All of these are from patterns by Steve Good. I have some Sue May designs in the wing, once these have been completed. I think that, tomorrow, I will try to saw for a couple of hours. Sycamore67
Be very careful as it takes time for everything to get back to normal. Trust me when I tell you that it is fairly easy to dislocate the hip and it is unbelievably painful. I have had a hip replacement, wore it out, revised it, and dislocated it. Frank Pellow
Thanks for the tips folks. I am taking it easy but doing all the recommended exercises. Scroll sawing for short periods is one thing that has been suggested. OCtoolguy

Frank Pellow
Well, today I managed two 1 hour sessions using my saw and made good progress on the ornaments. Tomorrow, I will shoot for 3 hours and, in that time, I should manage to finish them. meflick
