Inkscape question

I was playing around with Inkscape and I can't get a name Horizonal  keeps up vertical and I rotated it and still comes up vertical how do I fix it.

You can select the letters, choose object to path then select un-group. Move the individual letters to the way you want then. Highlight all of them and then select group. Move the group to where you want it. Hope this helps and makes sense. There may be another way to do this but this is what I do.

Wayne, you and others who have helped me with Inkscape all seem to be on the East end of the country. I sure wish you all were a bit closer to me. I'd sit in your home and MAKE you teach me Inkscape. LOL!

Hi Edward:
When you are in Inkscape click on the font icon The big black A
Once you do that look on the top left of the screen, you should see a double arrow
Click on that double arrow, then orientation choose vertical or horizontal

Hi Edward, Have you altered the text in some way...Like bent it or something...If so you need to alter it to a "path"

Well except, you already said we are all crazy for staying where we get the winter cold and snow so I'm not sure you would come this way for us to help you out.   Is this an offer for someone to come and spend the winter with you in Southern Calif to teach you?
