Here is what the files look like with their names on his CD/DVD that I purchased and why I thought it was Word Art8. The first one is the .jpg image, the second one is the files its self and then what it shows inside the pattern file.

I have sent Steve an email with a link to this thread, with these screen captures from the CD, and explaining we are trying to find it for several people looking for it but we wanted them to go to his site to find it and not share the pattern here.  Hopefully he will be able to do so soon.  I know he has been sick and very busy right now trying to get ornament patterns and the other items out.

Well, technically Steve doesn't sell his patterns he gives them for away for free.  You just have to find the one that you want. 😉

EXCEPT you can buy his CD/DVD With all his past years items on it.  His CD from last year had all his patterns for 10 years, 2007-2017.  It cost $20 and had over 2,000 patterns on it probably when you take into account that many have multiple patterns in them. So that is about a penny per pattern for those 10 years. 😍

He usually updates it after the first of the year I think to add that past year's to it.  I did buy the CD last year thinking that would give me 10 years of his patterns.  Then today, I remembered I had it so I thought I would check it and see if I could find the pattern on it, figuring if I did, I could figure out when he posted it on the blog and find it there and then post a link to it from here to there.  Good idea - and I did find the pattern on the CD and discovered it was from 2007 - his first year of putting out patterns. BUT other then saying 2007, it does not say what month or anything on it.  So, I thought well, I would look through the 2007 posts and find it that way.  Unfortunately, I looked and may have missed it BUT I did not find it anywhere in any of his posts from 2007. 😩😔  Not so easy it would seem. 😟  I can tell you it is listed on the DVD as "wordart8" and has the "No Coffee No Workee" and "God is Awesome" patterns together.  However, a search for "wordart8" on his blog and the online pattern catalog did not turn that up either.

EDITED again :  I didn't Find  IT in his online catalog or on the blog though  .(though I did but I didn't so ignore what I say next! Didn't delete so as to not cause more confusion with followup comments.

@octoolguy Ray and @Rockytime Les, if you go here to his online pattern catalog: https://www.stevedgood.com/catalog/index.php and enter either "word art" (space between word and art or specifically  - "More Word Art-8" (no quotes) it will show up in the pattern catalog for you to download.  (I still don't find it on his blog posts though. 😕)

I too purchased his pattern disk last year. I forgot all about it. I'll have to dig through and see if I can find it. Thanks.

That is it for you Melanie, no more coffee for you!!! We can not have these mistakes here. Someone take her coffee cup away. 😀😀😀

Well John, the problem is I don't drink coffee.  Maybe that is the problem. 😉☺️ I think hubby came home with dinner about that time and I didn't verify that it was correct.  My bad.  I promise to try and do better. 😔

. Coffeeholics. It's life's blood for us. A pot of real coffee in the morning and then decaf the rest of the day. I can't imagine a day without coffee. We are "addicts".

Ok, I got an email back from Steve Good and he noted for some reason, the pattern is missing from the online catalog which he will fix when he gets a chance.  In the interim, he shared where it can be found on his blog posts and shared a direct link to it there.  I will share it here, and maybe @kmmcrafts Kevin can add it to the original post in this thread so it is easier for those looking to find it in the future.

@Rockytime Les - wasn't sure if you had ever found a copy or not.  @octoolguy Ray did you ever track down your CD with the pattern?  If not, may be easier to print from here:

The thing about this forum is I am always getting inspiration to learn more Inkscape.  When I saw this post my first thought was to recreate the pattern but I did not know how to "warp" the text.  After watching a few youtube videos it is actually quite easy.

The video that made it clear was https://youtu.be/ldbdhVWaT20

You have to down load an extension called Bezier Envelope Extension and I also downloaded his svg for the the warp shapes. Follow the links

After a little experimenting I create a pretty good replica of the pattern.

I am quite sure I am going to use this technique in the future.

I need to watch that video when things slow own for me.. I really want to know how to do this. and also want to know how to fill an area with text.. like the animal puzzles Iggy cuts.. I'd like to be able to take a silhouette and put text into that like those puzzles.. Many many things I could make if I was able to do that.. Some day... I hope...
