My lattest project

Finished this one up yesterday. Wasn’t to bad to complete. My biggest piece yet. I need more wood, blades, and time!

that's funny because for some reason the Jackson Browne, Running on Empty song came to mind when I finished. Except it was "Scrollin' on empty"

Nice work.     I've tried several times to cut 'thick' wood, but I aint good enough yet.

Brenda, I know you can cut thicker wood. Up to 3/4 thick is all about the same. What type of wood are you having trouble with, and what blades have you tried to cut it with?

Cuttin thick wood is just like cuttin thin wood.  Just....thicker.    Just go slower.

Picked up some danish oil today. The stuff is pretty easy to use. Literally just wipe it on and wipe it off. I also got a paint brush set to get inside the fretwork and edges. 

Plywood doesn’t look good with the danish oil. But the hardwoods look great. I used super glue to hold the pieces to the stand.
