Popular Post trackman Posted December 16, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted December 16, 2018 When I seen this pattern from Alexfox I said that looks fun. By the time I got all the pieces cut I was saying why lol. Wasn’t a hard project but I couldn’t find 4mm plywood that the pattern called for. So I got 5mm an run it through drum sander to take off 1mm. You have to be very close on your cutting for the pieces to fit snug. MTCowpoke22, RabidAlien, heppnerguy and 11 others 14 Quote

spirithorse Posted December 17, 2018 Report Posted December 17, 2018 Absolutely fantastic! How long did that take you and how many times a week are you planning to take it apart and re-assemble? Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse Quote

Spirithorse Don’t know how long to cut but I am sure I won’t be taking it apart lol. The biggest problem is that there isn’t any instructions. Had to watch the video to see how to put together. There are two different sizes of five sided pieces. Had to watch to see what stack he was using in each step. For Alexfox to come up with such a pattern shows how much of a brain he is. heppnerguy Posted December 18, 2018 Report Posted December 18, 2018 I was thinking your thoughts as I viewed this piece......How and why could Alex imagine and design such a project? That alone, boggles my 3 celled mind. This should raise a lot of comments and questions from the ones that view this at your house. I could spend the remainder of my life and not even begin to figure out how to make a pattern for that. It sure interesting though. Dick heppnerguy Quote

alexfox Posted December 20, 2018 Report Posted December 20, 2018 Assembling was the most difficult and at the same time the most interesting part of project Quote
Tomanydogs Posted December 23, 2018 Report Posted December 23, 2018 That’s a great project. Well cut and and a great pattern. Quote
