Popular Post Rockytime
Soon as I saw Kirk's aka Rabid Alien I had to cut it. I had the pattern printed in red for these tired old eyes. I used 1/2" Cedar cutting it with a #3 Pegas MG blade. Now that it is cut I don't know what to do with it. I'll glue it to a backer but have no idea how to make a frame. I'm thinking of just getting some door trim and staining it. Hopefully I can make an adequate miter cut. RabidAlien
Nice! Love the wood (cedar pollen is high today, so I would love nothing more than to cut something out of EVERY CEDAR TREE EVER!!! ). I found that when putting it on the backer, I made the frame, put the backer on the frame, then wrapped two rubber bands around the frame where the bottom of the letters would go, and used those to line everything up. I also cut the frame short enough that the music notes butted up against the frame. For me, made the spacing and layout much easier.

I went to HD today and picked up an 8' length of trim. I'll probably use up every inch of it before I get good corners cut. RabidAlien
I grab the 1x2 poplar and usually go through about 4 times what is necessary to make one small frame. I also have been leaving off the dots over the "i", I salute your superior cutting skillz! Rockytime
