I found this site while looking for how to do fonts in Inkscape. As a Linux user it is some times had to find how too's for Linux apps, thanks for the work that has been done here. It's the patterns themselves that I've made the greatest mistakes. When I first started making patterns I did it with an old copy machine that I kept cutting and pasting with touch up with a pencil and eraser. I don't have any pictures of my first piece I made, cut it with a hand fret saw out of floor under layment so it was pretty rough. I then bought a 16" Delta 2 speed, that saw made me a lot of money. I had a couple of other cheap saws that didn't last very long then bought a 20" Hawk and then my 20" Dewalt which is about as nice as they come. I'll see if I can find the images of some of the fretwork that I've done, plus a few other things. Almost everything I done is custom work these days.
