Popular Post GPscroller Posted December 28, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted December 28, 2018 Every year I take 2 - 3 weeks off at Christmas and tackle a "major" project. This year it was Tom Mullan's Galleon pattern. Turned out it looked a lot more daunting than it actually was, only around 440 cuts. Stack cut 1/4 and 1/8 BB ply, 15 X 19 inches and mainly cut with Sawbird 2/0 spiral. Jeff amazingkevin, new2woodwrk, innar20 and 20 others 21 2 Quote

There I go thinking about breaking one of my new year's resolutions before I even get to the new year!! Super cutting! heppnerguy and GPscroller 2 Quote

Scrappile Posted December 29, 2018 Report Posted December 29, 2018 @GPscroller I hope you are proud, Jeff, you made me break my New Year's Resolution before I even got to make it!!! I ended up with three new patterns in all. Two from Charles Hand, that I remembered I wanted. I always say if you are going to fail on a New Year resolution, fail big! Okay, from now on,,, no more Patterns!! GPscroller and RabidAlien 2 Quote

If it were not for all the great pattern makers out there, continually putting out patterns that are difficult to pass up, some of us might even get to the many we have in storage that has been waiting for us to get around to cutting them. heppnerguy Posted January 1, 2019 Report Posted January 1, 2019 That really is a great job of cutting once more, by you. It is a very desirable piece indeed. Love it Dick heppnerguy GPscroller 1 Quote

Dick heppnerguy Not going to take that wager Dick. I managed to get nine projects done on my break at Christmas, but remembered one other that I has seen in one of my old CWWC magazines and went looking for it. Found it and two others that are insane and now have to cut them. Plus a pattern for another chess set. Also there are three more Aniki Lykke Sorenson patterns that need to be ordered. As you say, tooooooooooo many patterns and sooooooooooo little time. Jeff heppnerguy 1 Quote
