Popular Post heppnerguy
My wife wanted a new plaque for her wall and she wanted it to have a red backer board and a pretty design. Well, going through some of my patterns. I found this one that was designed and shared by our own, 'grampa'. and when I showed her the pattern, she her eyes lit up and I could hear the excitement in her eyes as she told me that it was perfect and beautiful. So off to the shop I went to cut it. It took longer then I had anticipated and after I had it cut I showed it to her for your approval. "It's beautiful. Now be sure and take your time finishing it for me." I had to admit that I was glad she had said that to me as I tend to hurry through the finishing part on my projects because I get so excited to see it all done and ready to be hung. It came out to be exactly how she wanted it and I was happy with it too. So there you go. Thank you for your generosity of sharing your beautiful pattern for all of us to use. I asked her what she wanted and that was her wish, so since it was for her, I did it that way. Usually I do not like to paint any wood but It turned out that I happen to like it on this piece too. wombatie
That is beautiful Dick, I can see why she loved it. When I first saw it I thought, 'That would make a great looking lid for a sewing basket'. Have no idea why, just did. John B
A nice piece Dick, and if the War Office is happy, everyone is happy It reminds me of the doilies that Mum had scattered around the house with precious objects sitting on them. heppnerguy
