Popular Post fisch2481
Everyone say hello to Mario; my homage to the game and level that started it all for many of us in gaming; Super Mario Bros Level 1-1. I cut this by hand using my scroll saw. The woods are all naturally colored without the use of stains. I used Padauk, Yellowheart, Walnut, Bloodwood, Oak, Figured Maple, Sapele, Aspen, Tigerwood and Mahogany. Check out the album to see how I made it (https://imgur.com/a/BeB2nKi). A special thanks to the illustrator, Derek Laufman for letting me work off his Mario illustration. Old Joe
Super! Mario Brothers always reminded me of real life with the wife in that you work your tail off filling the bucket with tokens from doing nice deeds, only to have the whole bucket dumped out for one little screwup!
