You my friend have every right to be proud of that work. You are a seasoned vet at this. What saw have you done most of the work on?? Do you still have these pieces?? How long ago did you do the dome clock?? I remember when that first appeared and it was all the rage and everyone was doing them. Then they found out quickly you need some room for those. Job well done and thanks for showing.

Thank you so much for the kind words.  The scroll saw I've been using is an old Dremel 1680.  I keep telling myself I'll upgrade some day but since the saw does what I want it to do, I haven't done so yet.  Yes, I still have all of these pieces.  My dome clock is on a stand in the corner of my man cave, the motorcycle is on the wall of my man cave, the tower clock is mounted on a shelf in my living room and the grandfather clock stands in a corner of my living room next to the entertainment center. Maybe that is more information than you wanted, heh. The dome clock was started in 2006 and moved around with me from place to place while I was in the Air Force.  I was fortunate to not have it get torn up in the moves. I finally got around to finishing it in May of 2011.

Beautiful items.  Like I said, you are very talented.  I'm looking forward to seeing more.  I also enjoy fretwork.  Did any of those patterns some from finescrollsaw.com.  One of my favorite site and the gentleman that owns it is great to do business with.

Thanks you too for your kind words.  All of my clock patterns were purchased from Wildwood Designs who merged with Cherry Trees toys some years back.  I haven't become acquainted with finescrollsaw.com but I'll be sure and check it out very soon.

Wonderful work!

Several years ago , when I joined our scroll saw club, many of the founding members specialized in those classic, big clocks like yours.  Seeing the work those gentlemen did left a very deep impression on me.  They were true masters of the craft.  It's always been my desire to someday build one of the large, Wildwood Designs clocks.  Perhaps once I'm retired.

I tip my hat to you, sir.  You are a true scrolling master.  👏

Fantastic work! I wanted to make a clock or two like those and knew that my patience would not last for the length of time it would take.

Also, I did not want to invest a lot of money in a clock movement and not be able to sell it for a reasonable price.

The Lord's Prayer shown below is probably the longest project I have done. Stack cut in 1/4" Baltic Birch about 44 hours.

Thanks for sharing your projects! Excellent work and a pleasure to view.

God Bless! Spirithorse

Those clock movements are kind of irritating... They work well but they run on a single AA battery and they die so quickly... I don't even try to keep them running... I just let them sit around as part of the decor... Your Lord's Prayer projects are very nice... I've never tried to scroll a project with letters in it... I have good patience but I'm not so sure I could do that... As a side note, I am a scroll saw hobbyist only... I never sell my work pretty much for the same reason you listed...
