Dave Monk
I have an event the end of April that goes to 11:00 at night. Does anyone have a suggestion for lighting?
spirithorse
Hi, Dave, Good luck on your up-coming show. I think a light like this LED light would be quite good. Cheap, has a clamp for easy placement, and 600 lumens https://www.menards.com/main/lighting-ceiling-fans/work-lights/smart-electrician-reg-600-lumen-4-in-1-led-clamp-light/da023-c1/p-1527575432233-c-7546.htm?tid=4447507851278220957&ipos=4 or the 1200 lumens will be extremely bright and still quite inexpensive https://www.menards.com/main/lighting-ceiling-fans/work-lights/smart-electrician-reg-600-lumen-4-in-1-led-clamp-light/da023-c1/p-1527575432233-c-7546.htm?tid=4447507851278220957&ipos=4 My wife and I use that 1200 lumen light to cast shadow figures onto the end of our house and, believe me, you would definitely have to divert or diffuse a light that bright for a craft show display! Of course, you could also use something like this https://www.menards.com/main/lighting-ceiling-fans/outdoor-lighting/rope-string-lights/patriot-lighting-reg-16-rgb-led-flexible-tape-light/gt-rgb-ltp/p-1509431387263-c-14318.htm?tid=913233262997505279&ipos=8 and the light intensity can be adjusted and you can also change it for several different functions such as flashing, fading, solid color, changing colors, etc. My wife and I just installed three sets of these as mood lighting on cabinets in our home and she just loves them! God Bless! Spirithorse Dave Monk
WayneMahler
Dave Last year we did a few shows at night. I used a LED rope light strung around the inside of the canopy top. Did a nice job lighting things. I bought mine at the big box store and worked pretty good. There was enough light to show things but not interfere with walking into the night after being inside ( if that makes sense ). I believe it is 32 foot long, it's put away or I would measure it.
