Jim McDonald Posted February 27, 2019 Report Share Posted February 27, 2019 Like the idea of the purple heart birds, but last fall, I did a batch with poplar birds and then painted them. To some people, painting something that small is a hassle, but I found a bit of challenge. The birds didn't actually resemble anything specific, but they did add color to the "porch". I did eight for my sister and gave her ten birds and perches so she could pick which bird went to a specific bird house and recipient.
